Course Description

The Almenara Golf Course is situated in the midst of the Sotogrande development of southern Spain. Designed by Dave Thomas the course has undergone various redevelopments to make it into the 27 hole varied and challenging course which it is today.

The Course looks out over the Mediterranean and is built around natural lakes and streams. Dotted with cork oak trees and generously bunkered, the fairways are relatively narrow allowing the Almenara Golf Course to offer the unbeatable combination of challenging golf amidst breathtaking beauty.

Outstanding facilities at the Golf Academy include two Astar Swing video analysis studios and tuition room. The club professional is always available to provide tuition. There is a floodlit driving range with 90 practice bays (21 of which are covered), three full-sized practice holes, a chipping and practice area, as well as pitching and putting greens. The club house provides changing facilities, as well as breakfast, lunch, dinner and a bar. The club shop can help with club/trolley/buggy hire.
