Course Description
Designed by Dave Thomas in 2000,The Marbella Golf Club Resort is a 20 minute drive from the Hotel Puente Romano. Set amidst the hills of Benahavis, this 18 hole, par 73 parkland course, at 6279 metres, enjoys spectacular views of Gibraltar, the African coastline, the Mediterranean and the surrounding mountains. The holes comprise water features and demanding bunkers encouraging players to seek out the best approach shots. All the holes have beautifully contoured fairways and immaculate greens. Bunkers around the rough make it difficult for balls to go astray. There are also several lakes, particularly on the back nine, which have to be successfully negotiated.
The facilities include a driving range, pitching and putting green. The club house also has changing facilities, provides breakfast, lunch and dinner, and has a bar. The club shop can provide the necessary club, trolley, buggy hire and the Club Professional provides tuition.
