Course Description
Opened in 1991, the 6456 metre 18 hole par 72 Montecastillo Golf Club was designed by Jack Nicklaus. This public parkland and links course features undulating terrain, raised tees, plateaued fairways, large greens, cloverleaf bunkers and water which comes into play on five of the holes. The course is on a moderately hilly terrain, and while the greens are frequently elevated, there are no blind or uphill holes. This is a very open course and can be difficult to play, but all the hazards are very much in play, especially the water and the out-of-bounds.
Facilities also include a driving range, as well as a pitching and putting green. The club house has changing facilities, and can provide assistance in renting clubs, trolley, buggy or the service of a caddy. Meals are also served at the club house, and there is also a bar. The club shop has a Club Professional who can provide tuition.
