Course Description
Designed by Robert von Hagge and Rick Baril, and opened in April 2001, this 18 hole par 71 public championship course was built on the site of an 18th century plantation. The course plays out to the resort's beautiful beaches and then swoops up and down through green hills and valleys. The 5th and 6th holes play directly on the ocean, and almost every hole has ocean views. The course winds back up into the green hills of Rose Hall where its fairways rollercoaster up and down to an elevation of 900 feet. The par 4 16th hole has a narrow fairway, playing from an elevated tee, ancient trees and a yawning canyon are on the left. The 17th hole starts with a commanding view of the Caribbean, and then descends to a wide graceful fairway, winding its way through a secluded valley. The par 5 18th hole has a large fairway lined with pot bunkers along the right and a deep hazardous valley to the left. The green appears daunting, but is actually large and welcoming guarded on the front by the yawning gully.
There is a club house with changing facilities, as well as club and buggy hire. There is a club shop and club professional. There is also a caddy, as well as a driving range, pitching green and putting green.
