Course Description
Sandy Lane features 112 luxury rooms and suites with a range of five star amenities that ensures your stay to be both memorable and comfortable. Facilities available at the hotel include three restaurants plus four bars located around the resort for your convenience and pleasure.
Designed by Tom Fazio the Sandy Lane 18 hole Country Club course is a challenging par 72 links course with lush greens and open fairways with angled slopes. The 1st hole, a 474 yard downhill par 4 offers a spectacular view of the island. There are five par 5 holes, the course offers generous fairways, large greens and bunkers. The memorable 7th hole is a short 'down-the-cliff' par 3. The back nine features par 5's that allow for a good score, but the prevailing wind can make it more difficult. Facilities also include a 450 yard driving range, pro shop which can arrange club and shoe rental, locker rooms with a private lounge and a country club with restaurant and bar.
The Green Monkey,has been under construction for almost two years. Another masterpiece designed by Tom Fazio, (ranked as one of the leading golf course architects in the USA), it is set to be one of his most spectacular and exciting designs yet. It will offer a whole new challenge to golfers at Sandy Lane, and will prove a magnificent addition to the resort. The championship-style course has been carved out of a former quarry with dramatic elevation changes and spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea. The course is named after the famous Bajan green monkeys common on the island and even features a bunker with a grass island carved in the shape of a monkey.
The famous Old Nine course, constructed in 1961, is intimate yet challenging. With its tree-lined fairways, it still winds its way magically through the old estate.
